《ストーリー》
東京の大病院である「永世会病院」には、「永井秀一」（ 大沢たかお）と「永井拓巳」（竹野内豊）という、２人の御曹司がいる。
２人とも、父が経営する「永世会病院」で働く医者であるが、血は繋がっていない異母兄弟だった。
兄の「秀一」は、幼い頃から成績は常にトップのエリートなのに対し、弟の「拓巳」は医者としての知識すら危うい、出来の悪い存在で評判は最悪だった。
しかし２年前に兄の「秀一」は、『父のしている事は金儲けで、医者のする事じゃない』と家を飛び出し、現在は北海道の美幌別診療所で働いていた。
そこで看護見習いとして、住み込みで働く「倉本彩」（酒井法子）と、お互いに惹かれあうようになる。
「倉本彩」は、耳と口に障害がある捨て子で、美幌別診療所に務める医者に拾われたのだが、その育ての親は病死してしまう。
それを機に東京へ戻る決意した「秀一」だが、飛行機に乗る寸前に、「やはりすぐに戻るから、結婚しよう」と言い残して旅立つ。
しかし、いつになっても戻って来ない「秀一」を心配して、「彩」は東京に探しに行った。
そこで「秀一」の弟の「拓巳」と出会い、「秀一」が階段から転げ落ちる「結城祥子」（細川直美）を助けようとして頭を打ち、記憶を失った事を知る。
また二人がこの病院の御曹司だと知り、弟の「拓巳」に、この病院で働かせてくれと願いでた。
北海道での２年間の生活の記憶や、自分が婚約者である事を言い出せない「彩」。
それとは裏腹に、助けてくれた恩を感じて介護に尽くす「結城祥子」と、次第に仲が深まっていく「秀一」。
また弟の「拓巳」は、次第に「彩」に惹かれていく。
愛するあまりに湧きだす憎悪が、人の理性を狂わせる。
またそれらを取り巻く陰謀が、４人の関係に水を差す！
《感想》
続編の星の金貨までを一つのストーリーとすれば、内容はかなり重い部類になると思います。
愛し合っているにも関わらず、なかなか結ばれない２人。
ここまではどのドラマにもある王道パターンですが、その内容がかなり心をえぐります。
憎悪や嫉妬による、「怨恨」の要素も強く、人によっては見るのが辛くなるかも知れません。
しかしどんな結末になろうと、最後は相手への愛は変わらないという、純愛の要素が勝っていたように思えます。
二人を囲む様々な想いによって引き起こされる事件に、きっとあなたはハラハラする事でしょう。
そして「どうかお願いだから、二人を幸せにしてあげて下さい」と言う気持ちが、次のエピソードへと導くはずです。
古いドラマなので現代とのギャップがあり、馴染めない人もいるかも知れません。
しかし最後まで見て欲しいと思います。
感動のラストが、あなたを待っています。
余談ですが、主題歌の「碧いうさぎ」も、凄く良い曲です。
「何気ない言葉を 瞳合わせてただ静かに 交わせるだけでいい 他にはなんにも要らない」
私はこの部分の歌詞を、（何気ない事も、目と目を合わせて以心伝心で伝えるだけでいい。その他に言葉も何も要らないから二人で居たい）という事だと解釈してます。
この曲は、このドラマの為にあるようなものですね！
《story》
Eiseikai Hospital, a large hospital in Tokyo, has two heirs, Shuichi Nagai (Takao Osawa) and Takumi Nagai (Yutaka Takenouchi).
Both of them are doctors who work at Eiseikai Hospital, which is run by their father, but they are half-brothers who are not related by blood.
The older brother, Shuichi, has always been at the top of his class since childhood, while the younger brother, Takumi, has the worst reputation as a poor doctor whose knowledge as a doctor is questionable.
However, two years ago, his older brother, Shuichi, ran away from home, saying, ``My father's job was to make money, not a doctor's job,'' and he is currently working at a Bihorobetsu clinic in Hokkaido.
There, she becomes attracted to Aya Kuramoto (Noriko Sakai), who works as a live-in nursing apprentice.
``Aya Kuramoto'' is an abandoned child with hearing and mouth problems who was picked up by a doctor working at the Bihorobetsu Clinic, but her foster parents died of illness.
Taking this as an opportunity, Shuichi decides to return to Tokyo, but just before he gets on the plane, he leaves, saying, ``I'll be back soon, so let's get married.''
However, worried about Shuichi, who never returned, Aya went to Tokyo to look for him.
There, he meets Takumi, Shuichi's younger brother, and learns that Shuichi lost his memory after hitting his head while trying to save Shoko Yuki (Naomi Hosokawa) from falling down the stairs.
When he learned that the two were the heirs of this hospital, he asked his younger brother Takumi to let him work at the hospital.
``Aya'' cannot tell about her memories of living in Hokkaido for two years or that she is her fiancé.
On the contrary, Shuichi gradually becomes closer with Shoko Yuki, who feels grateful for her help and devotes herself to caring for him.
Also, her younger brother Takumi gradually becomes attracted to Aya.
The hatred that springs from love makes people lose their reason.
Also, the conspiracy surrounding them puts a damper on the relationship between the four!
《Impressions》
If we consider the story up to the sequel, Star Gold Coin, as one story, I think the content will be quite heavy.
Even though they love each other, they can't get together.
Up to this point, it's a standard pattern found in all dramas, but the content is quite heart-wrenching.
There is also a strong element of ``grudge'' caused by hatred and jealousy, which may be difficult for some people to watch.
However, no matter how it ends, in the end, it seems that the element of pure love prevails, as the love for the other person remains the same.
You will surely be in suspense as you watch the incidents caused by the various feelings surrounding the two.
And the feeling of saying, ``Please, please make these two happy,'' should lead to the next episode.
Since it is an old drama, there is a gap between it and modern times, and some people may not be able to get used to it.
But I want you to watch it till the end.
A touching ending awaits you.
As a side note, the theme song "Aoi Usagi(碧いうさぎ)" is also a really good song.
"We just need to look into each other's eyes and exchange casual words quietly. Nothing else is necessary."
I interpret this part of the lyrics as saying (even if it's a casual thing, all you have to do is make eye contact and convey your heart and soul. There's no need for words or anything else, so I want to be alone with you).
This song seems like it was made for this drama!
